Cardio Exercises for Abs
Here are some cardio exercises for abs that you can add into your cardio workout or after your workout. These won’t get you abs but will get them a good workout. Lowering your body fat will get your visible abs.
Mountain Climbers are kind of like climbing a mountain. Start in a pushup position. Bring your feet up so your knee is moving under your chest. Return your foot to the starting position. Repeat with the other leg. You can also do cross body mountain climbers whereas you bring your foot up to your opposite side of your body. This make the exercise more difficult.
Start in the pushup position. Bring your foot up to the outside of your hand and then return it to the starting position. Repeat with the other foot. Just pretend that you are spiderman climbing up a building.
Complete a normal pushup and at the top of the pushup lift you one hand off the ground and raise it up as you rotate your upper body.
In a standing position jump as high as possible and land with your feet with your hands on the ground. Kick your feet back to bring you to the pushup position. Do a pushup. Jump your feet back up to your hands and stand up. That’s one rep. Repeat for desired repetitions.
Bird Dog Exercise
Get down on the floor like a dog on your hands and knees. Raise your left arm and right leg at the same time. Bring them back to the starting position. Repeat with the other arm and leg.
